Walking the fields of the Meyer Preserve, Western Parcel

Meyer Preserve's western parcel

Lisa and I went out for a wee Sunday walk through the fields of the Meyer Preserve’s western parcel. It’s a lovely open spot with a bit of woods trail on the southeastern side, near Oregon Rd. It was a lovely day, with the temperature in the upper 50s. It really felt like spring was finally here. I can’t wait to get out in these preserves I’ve been visiting, and see them in full bloom. I can imagine it’s going to be pretty spectacular.

I’ve been making custom hiking sticks recently. You may have seen mine from previous posts. I’ll do a story about them soon. Here Lisa models her personal stick in a stand of trees that divides two of the fields.
